(Institutum physiolocicum) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Trivia: Originally built as University's department of Physiology in 1905, the building is still used by the university! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The facade is mainly rendered but this part of it is raised and has a shape of a triangle, it's usually called a pediment. It stands out also because the street of Snellmaninkatu ends to it and this part of the building has an unobstructed view along it! Terracotta bricks serve an aesthetic rather than structural purpose at the Santa Fe de Bogota Foundation hospital, designed by Colombian firm Equipo de Mazzanti Architects. The project incorporates a pedestrian walkway through the building as well as focusing on indoor and outdoor gardens for both hospital patrons and the public. Architectural details: Hooba Design’s cave-like Brick Spris Coffe shop in Tehran captivated the A+Awards jurors in the Restaurant category back in 2015, and its undulating surfaces form a striking example of brick detailing.
