In order to get these ashy tones on a brunette, your stylist needs to lift your hair 2 shades lighter than your goal. This means when your hair does fade you’ll end up looking lighter and warmer, so maintenance glazing every 6/8 weeks is a must. Those with color deposit on their hair may not be able to achieve these ashy tones quickly. One last PSA: these tones are beautiful but do not look good on everyone!
