If it's one thing I can tell any entrepreneur, success seeker, my daughters or any anybody seeking to be the best versions of themselves is this: there is ONE thing I absolutely know for sure. And that is that you have to keep expanding what you know! You simply have to commit yourself to learning more and introducing yourself to different schools of thought. I have personally been on this quest ever since I've committed myself to become the best version of myself. And speaking honestly, that was inspired by me touching my lowest points, and realizing that I was the worst version of myself. To fuel this quest, I find myself feeding this fire of motivation by way of seeking knowledge. Fast forward to last weekend. I had the pleasure of attending a conference with Bob Proctor and Sandy Gallagher. Bob's philosophy is built around Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich'. He read it every day for the past 60 years. Sort of like a Bible, until it became "his Bible". He openly admits how this book is fundamentally responsible for his success and the huge empire he has built to it. If it's one thing we can take from Bob is this: don't just read books to get to the end and move on the next one. Actually, study it. read it several times. what you will notice is that through reading it (well, studying it) more and more, you will pick up on concepts that were hidden to your eyes the first couple times you read it (especially, the first). This is that start to change what he calls your paradigms, which are a locked in patterns, behaviors and mental states. Most of us are stuck in paradigms that don't benefit us. The goal is to move ourselves from operating unconsciously with unintentional negative behaviors to intentional positive ones, that we can use ultimately to catapult ourselves into the success we want to obtain in our lives. shot out to @proctorgallagher for an amazing 3 days. also, special shot out to my cousin @bb_officialgram for always being willing to pack his bags a moments notice and roll with me at the last minute. keep your thirst for knowledge as high possible. love you cuzzo.

From my experience as a mumpreneur that’s into PR and promotions, I’ve concluded that these skills make Mums some of the best entrepreneurs. Here are the 5 reasons why; 1. We know the value of hard work! Starting your own business is not easy, especially in the early days. I’ve made so many mistakes I can’t even count But because most women instinctively understand that value of managing a successful ( it takes time, effort, patience and perseverance) we know it takes the same mindset to build a successful business. 2. We are amazing at customer service Mums always know and observe how to meet people’s needs. We’ve had time to study and learn how to meet people’s needs. 3. We are negotiation gurus Anyone who can persuade a toddler to do ANYTHING has earned their master negotiator certificate in my opinion! 4. We understand that success is a team effort Every Mum knows that it is impossible to be successful (and remain sane!) by doing everything yourself. Trust! I know how my delegating skill have improved and if it doesn’t get done, I find the best opportunity to fit it in perfectly ‍♀️ . 5. We are masters at thinking on our feet As every Mum knows all too well, life rarely goes according to plan! Just when you have everything nicely planned out, something unexpected happens – the nappy explodes, the rabbit escapes... the list is endless! But we Mums amazingly adapt at thinking on our feet, finding a quick solution and instantly rethinking our original plans and tactics, and seamlessly moving forward regardless. My biggest tip is to build support network of people who understands you, your flexibility and priorities. People who cover for you without prompting. They just understand, inspire, motivate and support you, your vision. I firmly believe in creating a team for your business that you trust, enjoy, and can delegate parts of your work. It's time to LET GO of the things that require too much of your time and prohibit you from growing your business. A small suggestion to delegate: use stamps.com and skip the post office line.
