Had to post this one cause I’m craving sushi like crazy.
⠀
How healthy is Sushi? Some fish are great sources of omega 3 fatty acids DHA and EPA, such as salmon✅. They’re also a really good source of protein and contain all of the essential amino acids✅. ⠀
However, it really depends on how much you eat and the types of sushi that you eat.
There are three types of sushi:

✅Sushi: A piece of (usually) raw fish on top of rice
✅Sashimi: A piece of (usually) raw fish by itself
✅Sushi Roll: Raw fish and other ingredients wrapped in seaweed and rice.

P = Protein, C = Carbs, F = Fats:
Sushi = P+C or P+C+F (moderate calories)
Sashimi = P or P+F (lowest calories)
Sushi Rolls = P+C+F (most calories)

Sushi rolls are the ‘least’ healthy because most of them contain sauces and are higher in carbs and fats. However they’re great if you’re trying to bulk up!

But remember, anything in moderation is okay! If you fall off track, put it behind you and get back to your normal routine as soon as possible!

Ever fancy pizza but don’t have a HEb spare? Then this low Syn meatzza is the next best thing. It’s absolutely delicious paired with a nice green salad..

Eating dinner out on the garden patio tonight. Kids wanted pasta with garlic bread. I just had the pasta with a big salad..

Pasta is just stirred through a simple sauce using passata, stock, tomato paste, herbs and seasoning and then I topped with mozzarella and placed under the grill. Added a few olives to my salad and some dressing for (2.5 syns). Mozzarella is part of my HEa allowance.

If you want the full sauce recipe check out the link on my profile and search roasted tomato and garlic pasta sauce l, it was a cheat version of that, but instead of roasting I did it on the stove in a pan and used passata instead of fresh tomatoes..

Will the former ‘work’? - sure. It’s 1200 calories. I suspect if most adults followed a 1200 Calorie plan, it would result in significant weight loss. But is it necessary? IMO. No. .
