•DO I HAVE ANYMORE KIDS?• . So a bit of a weird one but just go with me here as I wanna know if I’m just odd or if they’re other mums who feel the same as me ‍♀️ . I always wanted three kids, no idea why, maybe cause my mum had three but it’s the number that was in my head. Especially after Kai was always such a happy and delightful baby/toddler/child it just reaffirmed this even more. . However, as you all know, Kai and Keira are both insanely challenging now in their own ways. I love them to absolute pieces but it makes me question if I really could do this all over again and deal with another one added to the mix. It doesn’t help that I wanted to be done and dusted pooping out kids by the age of 30 . There is part of me that wants to stop now as it slightly terrifies me having to divide my time and attention between three when it’s hard enough with two. However, I then worry (as per usual ) that I’ll be left with regret if I don’t, one day, have that third baby. . Did you have a set number of kids you wanted? •ENJOYING THE WAVES• . Living just 20 minutes away from the beach is a massive blessing but we hardly ever seem to get down here! To be fair, the weather hasn’t always been on our side and when something is close by it almost loses its appeal . However, today we decided we were gonna make the most of the beautiful weather and give Keira her first proper dip in the sea and first time wearing a swimming costume . If you saw my stories, it’s safe to say she loved playing with the sand and in the sea with Kai so much. It was a royal pain in the hum getting the buggy up and down the shingle version of Mount Etna but it was worth it to see these two having such an amazing time. . Of course, things had to go a bit tits up when I somehow lost a flip flop and spent 20 minutes trying to find it while contemplating setting up camp for the night. Equally, I completely underestimated how challenging it would be getting Keira changed when there was only wet sand and painful stones so nowhere to lay her down . However, I’m determined to get the kids down here at least once a week over the holidays and I’m more prepared for the struggles that we will have to face . If I could say something to my postpartum self it would be : “ Love your body more, love yourself more, be less ashamed and more proud, you carried a baby, you gave life, your body is beautiful, the size of your body, all those extra pounds don’t define your BEAUTY or your WORTH! . . . #powerinpostpartum I’m joining the bandwagon here and sharing a little bit about my postpartum journey (even if it’s been 3 years since I have been pregnant, postpartum has been something that has forever impacted my life) After my first baby I gained so much weight and it was so hard to even take pictures with my first baby because I felt so ashamed of how I looked, I felt like I couldn’t even look at those pictures, I don’t even have many pictures of me being pregnant with Analee and when she was a baby because I felt like I was too fat, to big and now I regret it completely. . . . I honestly wish I could turn back time and take those pictures, I feel like she will look back and be like, mommy, why don’t we have many pictures together when I was a baby, why does my sister have more? And I will be completely honest with her and I’m sure it won’t be a big deal but I wish I would have moved passed those extra 100 pounds and see the true beauty in me. . . . Postpartum has always been hard mentally because of all of those pounds I gain, but for future babies now I will take those photos, I will treasure them and I will love my body. . . . I am the type of girl that might have an addiction to food (comfort eating when times get tough, and I’ll probably make a video sharing about this ) and that’s what happens any time I gain weight, I am not perfect but I have realized that I shouldn’t punish myself for not being perfect.... . . . #gifted . I have always been dubious about amber teething products. Well I was wrong and I hold my hands up. We was gifted this most beautiful anklet from @loveamberx and I was going to wait a week and tell you what I think but I don't need to. As most of you know kaycee was very prem and has been very late on her teething journey. She's two and currently has 4 coming through. She's also always been one to put anything and everything in her mouth. I stupidly didn't link this to teething thought it was just Kaycee. However since wearing this anklet a lot less in going in we are also having less screaming fits in the night ( she still don't sleep but the screamings less ) honestly I so regret not getting one before hand. If you have ever wondered ...should I.. well yes. Yes you should and I highly recommend @loveamberx there is so many designs to chose from too, I just love kaycees ameilia .
