It's important you don't forget you're human. Being in the hospital makes you slip out of your identity. You can become a number, just another element in the room. Your privacy is compromised, your freedom is compromised.. I've been there, trust me. That's why I think you should be extra careful with yourself, and enjoy every moment you can. Give yourself the level of attention and care that's needed. A lot of people around you will be doing that too, but don't forget, it's you the only one that can heal from the inside. Someone can give you a shoulder massage, but it's you dealing with the feelings deep down.
