It's gonna be a minute before I have any new cosplays to share, and honestly, I've been enjoying stepping back more from social media. As much as I seriously love everyone I get to interact with on here, and as much as I cannot thank everyone enough for the support and encouragement you show me, social media really doesn't do my mental health any favors. I feel like I have to always bring my A-game, always be funny, always be available, always be working on myself to be able to stand next to the drop dead gorgeous people on this app. Social media can really have a way of getting in your head that just being YOU isn't good enough, and that's not healthy. So I've been trying to refocus more on what makes me happy and sharing the things I like instead of feeling like I should be a commodity. I'm just here to make cool things and chat with dorks like me I didn't mean to write this much, but here we are! Anyway, I've been trying to decide on what to bring to Dragoncon this year and I know a lot of friends are bringing back or making new Borderlands cosplays, so maybe I'll wear Lilith again Friday? This tutorial is here to help! . Jokes aside, I hope this little tutorial is somewhat helpful. It obviously only shows my personal techniques, and if you feel like changing up a few points, please go ahead - celshading (or toonshading, which is the technically correct term but nobody ever uses it) is an immensely complex artform and can be tackled from many different approaches :) . Fabric paint & fabric medium are washable! Make sure to iron the clothes before washing, choose a delicate washing program and wash sensitive pieces by hand. . If anyone is wondering what fabric paints/markers I like to use: This is not sponsored/ad; but my personal favourite is Javana. Edding fabric markers can work too, just make sure they don't bleed out on your fabric. . .
