But than I realised that these are not from lollies...nope. They are the plastic stems of cotton buds! There were so so so many of them... I asked myself how do all these stems get into the sea in the first place? And I found out that people flush (or flushed) them down the toilette that's how they get into the sea... So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T FLUSH THEM DOWN THE TOILETTE! And use cotton buds with a biodegradable stem out of paper or wood. It's such a little swap and it won't hurt you or your wallet. Think about it, and do it! . . It can be as simple as picking up a handful of trash on your way off the beach. Do your part!!! We are happy to be promoting waste reduction on here and just so you know, you guys will be seeing posts on this account from an array of people. It truly takes a village! Dnes som si (na prvom videu) všimla prvú plastovú nádobu v mori. Šla som po ňu. Spravila som tak viackrát. Nakoniec sme cestou domov zbadali neskutočné množstvo (predovšetkým) plastových sáčkov pri ceste v mori. Nedalo mi to. Za 5 minút som vyzbierala plnú tašku plastu (posledné video), ÁNO 5 minút. Toľko hnevu a smútku. A to bolo iba pár metrov prosím ľudia nehádžte plasty do morí, riek, jazier, oceánov. Otrasná vizitka ľudí. Top bol proteinový nápoj - zavretá nedopitá fľaša však to treba hodiť do mora, čo? Plastic is one of the greatest threats to the health of our planet. Our oceans, parks, dumps, streets, and sewers are littered with plastic. Plastic takes over a 1,000 years to decompose, so it’s not a very eco friendly material. The majority of fish that people eat are filled with plastic because they eat the plastic that is in the ocean. Make a difference and reduce your plastic and fish consumption.
