The first time I visited Tucson, one of the places that Larry (my then boyfriend, now husband and business partner) took me was Bookmans. It was an eclectic store filled with pre-loved treasures and all sorts of quirky products. Books containing ideas that once filled someone’s head and possibly shaped their universe. Instruments that carried a love of music and hours of dedication and practice. Physical manifestations of music and movies, the cherished relics from a time before streaming was a reality. Not just an array of fascinating finds, Bookmans seemed to embody the community that I saw when I visited Tucson. The staff was laid-back, the shoppers were friendly and the overall environment was so welcoming. It was a place I remembered years later when I came back to Tucson and began to call it home. As a Tucson resident, I came to learn that Bookmans is a true institution, with six locations across Arizona. As of this week, I’m pleased to announce that among the gems at all six Bookmans locations, you can now find Annotated Audrey Art stickers and cards. If you ever find yourself in AZ and in a treasure hunting mood, I would definitely recommend that you stop by Bookmans to meander through the aisles - you never know what you'll find.

Toutes les personnes que j'ai pu croiser dans ma vie ont un rêve, une aspiration, peu importe laquelle ; il y en a des milliards, et aucune ne se ressemble. J'adore échanger là-dessus. J'ai remarqué que tellement de monde dont j'en fais même parfois partie ne s'autorisent pas à se focaliser sur leurs ambitions aussi donneuses des sens soient-elles (un long voyage, une ambition professionnelle nécessitant beaucoup de travail, une relation, un devenir, un projet de fou). Les raisons ? La peur que les autres ne comprennent pas, la peur de rater, la peur de se tromper de voie, ou encore pire, la procrastination. Le fameux : "j'ai le temps pour ça, je m'en occupe demain". Or ce sont dans ces moments, où nous nous autorisons à vivre pour nous et uniquement nous, où nous avons le courage d'apprendre de nos erreurs, de persévérer, et où surtout nous sommes en accord avec nous-mêmes, que nous exprimons notre véritable enfant intérieur. Je me rends compte au fur et à mesure de ma vie qu'il est si important de s'écouter, d'oser, de vivre l'instant présent , de ne pas se forcer, de gratifier chaque réussite et chaque personne que nous avons autour de nous. C'est pourquoi je m'émerveille davantage face à sa richesse et ses possibilités. Ce n'est pas quelque chose d'évident et qui se fait pas en un claquement de doigts, ce serait trop idéaliste. C'est un véritable parcours . Cela peut demander un énorme travail sur soi au préalable ou une certaine stabilité. Mais notre enfant intérieur existe bel et bien pour tout le monde, alors autorisons-nous à rêver et à nous accomplir à notre rythme. Encourageons surtout nos amis et notre famille à se réaliser, comprenons-les, aidons-les s'ils en ont besoin, et accompagnons-les.

I've been sketching lots of ideas lately and wanted to go a bit further with this sketch by coloring it in and adding some details! Thanks so much @codynowa for the juice box suggestion ❤️... I've been wanting to do a juice box design for ageeeesss! . . . Sketching this was so much fun!!!... I may or may not add more details. We shall see. I will need some time to get a cleaner, finalized version ready though for printing, with all of the tiny words and perspectives stuffs that are in there ^__^. . . . But the BIG question is... would you drink this box of Juicy Cute‍♀️

Here’s another new sticker launching in early July. This new collection is all about my favorite things about summer. It’s Arizona with its vibrant desert, colorful cactus and monsoon magic. AND it’s California with its ocean waves, beach moments and palm tree dreams. Stay tuned! Right before the new collection drops, we are going to have a pre launch sale!
