Let's talk about disappointment. It's not something I like to address often, partially because I like to keep my page a fairly positive place. But more so, I don't really enjoy the vulnerability that comes with acknowledging so many things are outside of my control and not going the way I wish. . Sometimes the disappointments are small- like being excited to try a condiment and finding it repulsive. Sorry, but I gotta keep it real- STAY AWAY from Mayochup. It was nothing like the delicious mix of ketchup and mayonnaise I ate with fries in Brussels so many times last year. But sometimes they're a lot more serious.... . I've been disappointed with a lot of things in my life recently, including with myself. My move to D.C. wasn't as smooth as I hoped it would be and fun fact, it's a lot harder to get a job than it is to get an internship, even when you have two masters degrees. I was always a good student, an overachiever, someone people have always expected a lot from and in turn I expect a lot of myself. But when suddenly you're no longer in school, it becomes a lot messier to judge life's successes and failures and it is A LOT easier to feel disappointed. . But I had a deep conversation with a friend recently and they reminded me that gratitude is the enemy of disappointment. And if we focus on the positives in our life, it puts the disappointments in perspective. So that's what I'm trying to do. My life may not look like I pictured but in many ways it's better not worse and in this vulnerable period of my life I am feeling the love and support of those around me more than ever. And for THAT I am extremely grateful. . So just remember to keep a positive attitude. Maybe you put a disgusting sauce on your burger, but at least you've got something to eat..... And it's a sunny day.... And you're with people you love..... This cream contains 8 peptide ingredients which helps improve skin elasticity and skin barrier. Ginseng callus extract and rice ferment filtrate improve the skin texture. This eye cream is more of a 'PREP EYE' infused with 'PEP EYE' goodness! REVIEW Eye cream is a very important part of my skincare routine. I have used eye creams from many brands now and have been very impressed with this one. Into my 30's now I use an eye cream (a thicker texture) at night and lighter texture ones throughout the day or under makeup. Have been extensively using this fresh, light and moisture inducing formula for eye makeup prep for many days now. It definitely works in minimising wrinkles especially around the outer parts of my eyes and prevent sagginess. I love how it's not runny, has decent thickness to nourish with a very light scent. I use my ring finger which has the lightest amount of pressure to apply the cream. This comes in a luxe tube packaging which is so convenient to pop in a purse for travelling and sanitary to use. Yummy, we are really enjoying the delicious Apple Brown Sugar BBQ sauce from @Influenster @thepioneerwoman @Influenster.eats. It is really delicious. I like how it adds a nice tangy sweetness to chicken, mixed veggies, pork, and potatoes. Dominic enjoyed these ribs so much! ✨ ✨ I made a really yummy potato dish with the sauce too. First I boiled the potatoes then smashed them in between two cookie sheets. I spread the Apple Brown Sugar Sauce on them and roasted in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes. The sauce caramelized and added a nice crunch and tangy sweetness to the dish.
