*finishes up drawing at 2:30 in the morning* I'm dead I should also probably not start drawings like this at 11:00 at night I decided to do some more environment concepting for Rimworld, because it really was fun and rewarding the other day(complely devoid of the fact that someone who normally earns 5 or 10 or 20 likes on a good day suddenly accumulated 3000 likes on a single post), but the only clincher is that it takes absolutely forever. Maybe I'll get faster at it if I practice more. Hopefully. I just know I can't be up at 2:30 in the morning again. For any who are curious about Rimworld: this is an IP I've had in the works for a while, something that mostly started as simply concepting practice, and it still is that to a degree, just that now I've gotten more carried away with it. The general idea was largely inspired by the Zhangjiajie mountains in China, when I envisioned civilizations embedded into the mountains, and from there I expanded. This nation and its culture were heavily inspired by Chinese culture respectively. The civilization is a relatively advanced society, for a fantasy world. They use paper representative currency, they utilize the energy from waterwheels and other sources, and they are particularly excellent at building structures out of wood, rope, and occasionally metal. They are generally very innovative, intelligent, wise, and practice different forms of meditation and becoming one with nature and the universe, much like many eastern meditative religions. There's a lot more to it I could write down here, but the post would become even more of a TLDR than it already is.
