*Edit* since this post has blown up so much I want to add some info on ways and tips on how you can help out. If you find bottles, cans or any type of container on the bottom of the river or any waterway make sure to empty it to remove any living creature that could be inside! Catfish and Crawfish make these cans and bottles their homes! Always wear protective gloves! These @darkfin gloves are a great example! They keep from your hands getting cut up especially from broken glass like the shattered bottle I grabbed off the bottom of the river! Be safe always go in groups and never leave your dive buddy's sight! But most importantly always stay within your limits, if a piece of trash is too deep for you to dive, don't push it! And last but not least always be respectful of wildlife because after all you're in THEIR home! You wouldn't like it if your housekeeper came up to you in your home and pet/grabbed you!
