It's about time to retire the Padme suit and move on to bigger and better projects! I have said it before and I cannot say it enough. This is still one of my favorite costumes I have yet to complete. I had time to fix up the details and somehow managed to pull the entire thing together while also having a major surgery in the middle of construction. I have been starting to document all my pieces and realized just how far I've come in costume design and prop making in such a short amount of time. I'm really excited to see where the future takes my work and to start producing more work! Hard work over time. That's all you will ever need to succeed.

And we are officially making progress on Kai'sa from League of Legends. About to wrap on the undersuit for her. Here's a few lessons I learned while making this suit. . 1.) Just because you're comfortable with sewing doesn't mean you can get lazy! I once again had to rip some seams because I got over confident and didn't double check that my fabrics were lined up properly. Always treat each new outfit like you're a beginner! You are never to good to double check:P . 2.) Asjusting patterns from the get-go is a lot easier than trying to sew and fix later! If you do the work and measurements up front, you'll save yourself a lot of time later. And a whole lot less pins in your side when you try and fit it to your body. . 3.) Feel free to walk away when you get frustrated! I took longer on this suit than I wanted, however, it is the cleanest sewing job I've done to date! Every seam lines up perfectly and I'm really happy with the results. . Hope these little tips help! May your week be full of crafting and productivity!
