It's been another week of blistering heat here in MN so I'm forced to make another cute summer top :). Luckily, the tank top I was planning on releasing this weekend became a nightmare to figure out the sizing, so I had to dig deep into the creative vault. What I ended up with was this awesome lacy top that my husband drew on a note pad while we were having coffee. I was really stressing about that tank top. It's funny how the most amazing things can come from the most trying situations. I hope everyone enjoys this one. It's gonna look amazing on you this summer :) . I finished the black/white granny square number, y’all. I was inspired by a photo I saw and could not for the life of me find a pattern for it ( ), so I’m thinking this is a commercial or fashion item? ‍♀️ If anyone knows something more than I do, please message me and let me know. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the end, I’m glad I couldn’t find a pattern, because it forced me to decide on my own construction for a poncho, and went from just a fun personal project to something I want to share with you. This piece is HIGHLY customizable, has hardly any seaming, and doesn’t involve any rectangular panel construction and seaming. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I chose to mimic the black/white, but will be making another one to show you a completely different way to design the coloring.
