Today we were invited to see The Very Hungry Caterpillar Live at @troubadourwcity . . The show is of course based on the famous book by Eric Carle, which sees a very greedy caterpillar eat and eat before turning into a beautiful butterfly This is one of Ita’s favourite books and I’m so glad that the live stage version didn’t deviate far from the original story! There was actually 3 short shows beforehand, all telling various tales and encouraging children to get involved. The show was narrated beautifully by 3 actors who also handled all the puppets. . The @caterpillarshow is showing at @troubadourwcity until 1 September and is also per of London Week - where a child goes free with a paying adult. . Recommended for ages 1+. Up to 18 months can enter as babes in arms. I would say this is perfect for very small children I will do a blog and include some parking tips but if you have any questions, please ask . ️ DREAM BIG ️ We had an amazing time @shuttleworth_oldwarden on Sunday at their family airshow. Watching a the planes that still fly today even though some are around 100 years old is incredible. For me seeing the Hurricane and Spitfire is always a pleasure, but Little Viking is fast becoming an enthusiast too. His highlight had to be the "parachuters". Today we went fruit picking @essingtonfarm, it is such a cheap day out and the boys probably enjoyed it way more than lots of expensive things. We picked strawberries, plums and blueberries and now we have that much fruit I don't know what to do with it, George says he wants blueberry cakes.
