53 great years with this gem of a Disneyland ride! She never fails me with her relatively short lines, AC, Christmas magic and 15 minutes of solid entertainment for my kiddos. It IS a Small World, after all, isn’t it?!

Happy anniversary to It’s a Small World! It opened this day in 1966 after its appearance at the World’s fair. I love the attraction I think it’s so beautiful. I love the scene in the movie Tomorrowland, when they ride it. I said I was done.. but I wasn’t.. but for reals I promise this will be the last one for a little while but I haven’t written one of my super long instacaptions in awhile so here goes ‍♀️ I can’t believe how blessed I am to have been given a group of friends like this. I wake up every morning knowing I have people that I could count on at the drop of a hat and that will support me and love me through the ups and downs. Coworkers.. fellow dancers.. friends.. none of these words quite sum up what they are to me, I would have to say “family” is the only way to define them. The reason I write this is because Instagram always makes everyone and everything look so perfect. We think we need to compare ourselves to others and insecurities can stem from that. Don’t forget what is real and WHO is real and when all is said and done, who will be there for you through it all to support you and inspire you and love you and really know the real you. I got inspired mainly because of a post I saw yesterday and it said “On the rare occasion we encounter someone so special that we just know we met for a reason. These are the kinds of friendships that last forever no matter what city you live in or how often you speak, no matter how old you get, or what phase of life you are in.”

There is ALWAYS something new to do in the Disney Parks even if you’ve been 7523 times. • In all the times we’ve been to the parks, we’ve never road the horse-drawn street car! While we were in Disneyland it pulled up right beside us as we were in front of the castle and it was completely empty so we hopped in! • Magical! • Seriously, how can something so simple make you feel so special and part of the magic?
