I've had lots of questions on how I did my Elsa photo. So I thought a collage of the editing process would help. I used the photoshop app to color my shirt and skin blue and then blurred the collar. Then I added sparkles to the shirt with a glitter photo app and then blurred the shirt again with photoshop. Auch wenn Karneval schon vorbei ist, ich hatte es euch versprochen: Die Anleitung zum Bau des Bienenstocks-Kostüm! Da ich nicht nähen kann, musste ich ein Kostüm „kleben“ . Ich habe (online) Rohrisolierung aus Kautschuk bestellt (18lfm, 28mm x 10mm). Dazu gibt es auch einen passenden Kleber, der stinkt leider bestialisch (unbedingt Fenster offen lassen), er braucht ca 10 Min. bis er fest klebt, hält dann aber bombenfest! Ich habe den Schlauch auf einem alten Handtuch geklebt, damit der Boden nichts abbekommt. Anschließend einfach wie einen Kreis hinlegen und nach und nach nach oben drehen und den Kleber drauf verteilen. Dabei ab der Hälfte schmaler werden und mit einem Zollstock die Länge abmessen, so dass es euch gut passt. Ich habe es dann erst mal 48 Std. trocknen lassen und dann kleine Löcher innen gebohrt um das Seil zu befestigen (am besten Knoten), dass um den Nacken geht und so den Bienenstock halten wird. Ihr könnt euch aber auch alternativ „Träger“ kleben. Da die Farbe des Schlauchs grau ist, habe ich im Baumarkt Farbe zum Sprühen in beige/natur gekauft und großzügig im Garten alles besprüht. Anschließend wieder trocknen lassen. Wer mag kann sich auch noch einen Hut passend machen, ich hatte allerdings keine Lust mehr und die Befürchtung es könnte eher so aussehen: Die kleinen Bienen habe ich online bestellt, sie haben doppelseitiges Klebeband und waren super easy anzubringen. Die großen Bienen habe ich in einem Blumen-Fachhandel gekauft und zum Teil geklebt oder einfach reingesteckt. Und dann war es schon fertig! Ach und wenn man sich setzen möchte, muss man den Bienenstock etwas anheben, so dass man sich nicht drauf setzt . Es ist tatsächlich sehr leicht, auch wenn es massiv aussieht. Cosplayer: @roifresco Character: #spikespiegel Series: #cowboybebop _ "Spike is cool! I think he's dope and loved Bebop so I figured why not be one of my favorite anime characters. I decided to be Spike months in advance before the con. When it comes to choosing your cosplay I'd say do what's comfortable and authentic to you. Also, know your body. I know my body and measurements so that was half the battle there. _ After getting it tailored, I knew I had plenty of dress shirts and ties. I also used my favorite Italian black shoes for Spike's kicks. They worked and are classic like Cowboy Bebop so the continuity fit. I used my natural hair instead of a wig and I got a gun prop and kept it tucked away until time to show because Spike carries a hand gun. _ For those just getting into cosplay, props are important because they add to the authenticity of the characters you are cosplaying. It's important if that's what you are going for but I've also seen some people make their own renditions of a character and they're great. But I do feel authenticity is important and replicating the authenticity of a character is something I personally prefer. It adds to the fun when joining other cosplayers and they can relate because they know its their favorite characters through familiarity. _ Everyone loved it! I got stopped a lot and met a lot of great people while wearing it. People were yelling out "Spike!", calling me "Space Cowboy". The whole night was pretty cool. It's really cool when I get approached as if they're approaching the actual character. When I cosplayed as Mugen, I got asked to do the breakdance fighting style, it made me happy to see others who remembered Samurai Champloo. It's awesome running into cosplayers who are cosplaying the same characters or series. Those are the best reactions. _ Cosplay is huge on social impact for me. I love the culture and having so many people with similar interests together in one place. I've made Friends who are actors, social justice advocates to fellow cosplay and comic culture lovers. The support and love from everyone I've become friends with is beautiful".
