Se llama “documenta”, es cada cinco años y dura 100 días. Para la última edición, en 2017, Marta Minujín emplazó una mega estructura en forma de Partenón, construida con libros censurados en distintas partes del planeta y en diferentes épocas. . Irónicamente, la obra fue montada en la plaza Friedrichsplatz, lugar donde tuvo lugar una histórica quema de libros, donde se perdieron unos dos mil ejemplares, en 1933. Textos judíos, marxistas y pacifistas, entre muchos otros, ardieron esa vez por iniciativa de unos universitarios nazis. En el mismo sitio, el Fridericianum, que todavía era utilizado como biblioteca hacia 1941, ardió en llamas durante un ataque de bombardeo, lo que resultó en la pérdida de otros 350.000 libros. . La obra de Minujín tuvo las mismas dimensiones que el Partenón de Atenas real. Los libros fueron atados a la estructura metálica con envoltorios de plástico transparente para su protección, que al mismo tiempo, permitía que la luz natural penetrara al edificio. Además, Minujín solicitó a la gente que dejase su email y su nombre para crear así un vínculo entre la persona que se llevaba el libro y la que lo donó.

Als Ausgangspunkt von Roman Signers (*1938) #Kunst dient der durch Harald Szeemann in der Ausstellung "When Attitudes Become Form" (1969) in Frage gestellte Skulpturenbegriff. Der in St. Gallen lebende #Künstler setzt sich nach seiner Ausbildung in #Zürich, #Luzern und #Warschau in seinen Arbeiten mit der Frage nach der Entmaterialisierung der Kunst und der Sichtbarmachung von Handlungen und Prozessen auseinander. Calder made the large-scale standing mobile Myxomatose while living in Aix-en-Provence in 1953. The work is unusual both for its method of construction—it was neither made on commission nor enlarged from a maquette—and for its strange title. Calder often gave titles to his works after they were constructed as a means of differentiating one from another.
