This year I've done a lot of work to come home to myself Most of it is internal, changes no one will ever see on the outside but occasionally those steps are external too. Going back to my brown hair roots felt like one step closer to home a couple months ago and today chopping my hair back to a very "ashley" length was the next best step. Each day I'm taking small steps forward being truer to myself and it feels good to feel more at home every day.

Journaling every morning as part of quiet time has been a critical piece of my recovery from addictive behavior around food & also helps me set my day up for success. I love taking some intentional & reflective time in the morning to write out what I'm feeling. Sometimes I just write whatever comes to my mind but I also love some good prompts to get my wheels spinning and mind focused. Someone shared a similar writing prompt with me this week and I loved it- so I thought I'd share with you! Do you write daily? If you don't, I really really recommend it! It's been so helpful for me I know it can help you too with whatever you're trying to process and work through- getting it out on paper helps. I have felt so many shifts in my life & business over the years and the handle @ashleysfreshfix just didn't feel right anymore. As I have been blessed to move toward more speaking, writing, education and teaching and whatever else the future holds & I think it's easier for me and everyone if I just use my name, it feels more aligned for me @ashleysfreshfix will be a new IG where I will store all my recipes & meal prep info as a resource for you guys so you can follow that if it suits you too, it will be up and running soon but business will continue as usual here!
