How quick did that wk end go ! After a nice couple of hrs shopping yesterday where I picked up a couple of items of clothing (no house items ) normally when I go for clothes I buy house items . This time I went for house items and bought clothes ! Go figure it was a mad rush for dinner when I got home and I have got nothing done ! Never mind it can’t be all work and no play . And today I have to go on a speed awareness course ! I am dreading it ! This is my idea of hell ! Speeding has been the Bain of my life since I had my first car . I really don’t know how it happens because I never feel like I am going fast. But the police tell me different ! And being as I have more points than Liverpool on my licence the course it is . Joking apart I honestly never mean to speed I am just alway late! so always rushing to where I am going . I really am hoping this course does the trick for me because it’s gone on to long . The thing about grief milestones is you feel the weight of them long before the date itself arrives. The triggers seem to be everywhere and you dread them so much, all you want to do is wake up after it’s over. Am I right? . Chances are you may feel that way about Valentine’s Day because it’s another massive reminder of the love you lost, the card you can’t send / receive, or the longing to hear I love you just one more time. . It’s not a setback to go through these slumps but instead another opportunity to slow down and honor your pain. Grief needs to be acknowledged and I’d say a day dedicated to love is the perfect time to give some right back to yourself. .
