Skirt printing is underway! . The skirts are arriving in batches and will be printed on as they arrive. Hope you're as excited as I am! . All pre-orders will come with Yumelixir's 2018 Year in Review magazine, which I'm super excited to share with you all! . 2018 was an amazing year, and I feel it's was the year I achieved the most tangible results towards my life goals . A lot of weird stuff happened, like both my and my brother's cars getting totaled, and my mom giving us an ultimatum before she kicked us out, but it was a key year for preparing us to take on the future . 2018 was the first year we started attending business and marketing conferences . 2018 was the year we finally found a sustatinable business model to practice . 2018 was when I launched Yumelixir . 2018 was the year both my brother and I were able to take our businesses to the next level instead of failing another try ☀️ . 2018 was the first year I was able to build my closet, take photoshoots, and feel like what I lost in the fire of 2013 was redeemed . So much more happened, and I can't wait to share that with my magazine launch! . I look forward to 2019 even more so⚡ . Enjoy this skirt time lapse at the expense of my fatigued knees . Special thanks to @julian.mesina for helping me complete this print run on Saturday! . Wow that was a lot of work and I find myself not offering pleated skirts in the near future and opt for different garments that are easier and less time consuming to print on . For now, all skirts on hand have been printed! There's 6 more skirts arriving thing week for the remainder of the pre-orders . Unfortunately, two of my orders for Red 3XL won't be able to be completed with this run because the manufacturer discontinued the red skirt in the plus size and didn't tell me till this weekend (RuDe) . Plus sizing in the red skirt has been disabled for purchase on the website because of this . I'll be contacting those two people shortly for an alternative color choice and an extra gift to compensate for the even longer wait time . I'll be printing the bandages on Thursday. I wanted to do them the same day as the skirts, but I finished up around 3 AM and didn't want to do the bandages anymore cuz my knees got tired hahahaha . And I ended up cancelling my Sunday photoshoot since I was up late . The magazines are due to arrive on Feb 5th . Orders without the socks will be shipped out on the 6th. Orders with the socks will have to wait for my blank socks to arrive (est. 2 more weeks) and will receive some bonuses for the wait! . Orders flagged for a deadline will receive their skirts and bandages first, then the socks and magazine in a second package . Overall it's been busy, but I'm happy to see progress on the pre-orders! A confused mind will always say NO... . Yesterday was Yumelixir's 1 Year Anniversary and also my 10K giveaway release! . If you haven't already seen it, please check my story to enter the giveaway . I am utterly, but pleasantly, overwhelmed by the responses and questions I've been getting for this giveaway and am really excited to share my answers to your questions... . The most common of all of them so far is "how do you stay motivated to work towards your goals?" . Simply put, my answer to that is: To have a clear mind, for your goal and for the worst case scenario... . Clarity is the only way to eliminate confusion, and with clarity, you'll be able to pursue things without being bogged down by confusion . It sounds really vague, but it would be too long to explain in this IG caption... . I'll be releasing my answers on IGTV with really personal and thought out responses, so always check my story for when I answer them! . And everyone is welcome to ask more than one question

What part of you fell in love with the meaning behind Menhera Fashion? . *disclaimer: I never went to a doctor to be officially diagnosed* . Younger me struggled with severe anger management & superiority complex issues... . I often felt alone, never able to make friends after moving schools so much, & decided attention from my parents only mattered . Given they were always at work, I almost never saw them at home . When I wanted something, & it didn't go my way, I'd experience tantrums, bothering everyone around me, making it more difficult to get along with others - at home, with extended family, & at school . When my brothers & I had the rare occasion to spend time with our parents, I sought attention, & felt threatened when I felt my brothers got more attention, praise, or love, than me . My anger lashed out in private, & I would abuse my brothers . Physically beating on them, because I was bigger & knew they couldn't fight back . Verbally berating them, because I wanted to feel like I was better & more deserving of our parents' attention . All the while, I was self-deluded, whole-heartedly believing I was the "perfect child" just because I was academically accomplished . When my parents divorced, my mom found out my dad was cheating on her, & my dad left home the same night . It was a shock to me: I almost never saw my parents, so if they were fighting prior, I didn't even know . My dad didn't even fight for custody over me or my brothers, making me feel like I wasn't even worth fighting for . Superiority complexes have a way of falling apart, exposing feelings of inferiority, inadequacy, & failure . But I think it's great it was exposed because it forced me through a journey to find what self worth actually means . Now my relationship with my bro @avfigures is awesome & I wouldn't be here today without his help. I think @frosttheskater still hates my guts tho haha . On my journey to find myself, self expression through fashion became integral, & finding Menhera really hit home: being able to visually express even though you're not okay inside, you're dealing with it & trying to figure it out . What's your story?
