DYSLEXIA: Genius Mind I believe that Dyslexia is a form of Genius, of whole-brain connection, that the so-called "Dyslexic Child" is a mis-diagnosis, for all children display creative intelligence in their own unique way. It is a failure of the current teaching paradigm, that our educators ignore the most important aspect of a child's learning: the Visual Component. 70% of all children that I have met are highly visual, and the reason why they get distracted with their lessons is not because they are sub-intelligent, but rather the opposite, that their Higher Mind does not respond well to a rationalized, institutionalized, sterile form of learning, (which may be fine for some students who want to become doctors or engineers), but the restless child who is not being fed visual content gets bored, and thus "switches off". This then leads to highly creative mental adventures with clever letter reversals, flipping of data, mirror-imaging of content, why, for mere neural entertainment. The problem here is not the child, it is the misperception of what Dyslexia really is. Having taught numerous dyslexic children has given me a rare insight into the deeper nature of what actually underpins this "dyslexia".
