This kid took his first UNAIDED STEPS this afternoon and I am SHOOK!! I don't think I'm ready. Bit I am so excited and so very proud. He's not quite 11 months and there is absolutely no slowing him down. The race is on. In other news I have secured Henry's days in pre-school for September and we have a potential first official day (we're actually abroad the first week of term!) and will be getting news of his settling in sessions in a few weeks! Apparently it's a growing up kind of day! Moral of the story: kids grow up FAST!!

Happy N i n e M o n t h s to this cheeky little chap!! That’s nine months of knowing him, loving him, cuddling him and watching that big happy smile get cheekier and cheekier Such a ball of energy! This month we’ve heard his first word (Bye Bye closely followed by Dadda ), seen his top tooth come through and realised he’s an absolute Houdini at getting out of his pram (do they make an 8 point lock!) What do you want your business to look like, you need to post daily, do this, do that.... • Me: “UM YEAH, no. Thats not going to happen daily.” • REALITY IS: My kids, John, and my house NEED me. Ya feel me? • There’s a lot of moms I support, love & follow- doing their thing on social media, doing what they can for their family so I just want to say, POST WHEN YOU WANT. Post daily if it makes you HAPPY w h a t e v e r, just don’t stress. Do what you want, when you want, at whatever time you want. I know likes can be a nice encouragement, but the ones that matter are there- right there for you DAILY and being there AND present for those people is ultimately what matters most. • There’s a time and place for everything. Do it during naps. While they are at school. While making dinner. Idk, I’d say more than anything, time management is key to this whole motherhood-running-your-own-business thing and there’s no secret code to success for this. SoOOo...don’t kill yourself trying, just do what makes you happy. What do you guys think about screen time for kids? Personally I don’t try to avoid all screen time with kids, but i do tend to keep it minimal and make sure that the content has value. • Ad: until recently our screen time consisted of select videos on youtube and national geographic, but recently I discovered @readingeggs, which has really been a treat. Saturday was this little girl’s due date, yet she was already over two weeks old! When Judah was a newborn I worried if I wore him too much in the wrap that he wouldn’t sleep on his own.
