Epsom salts ✨ . This ingredient is so versatile and cheap! And I love that I can purchase it in bulk to avoid packaging . I ran out of vinegar the other day and I needed to top up my fabric softener. I have been soaking my empty doterra bottles to infuse white vinegar for ages and it makes the best fabric softener. . So no vinegar but I had Epsom salt on hand. So I filled a jar and added a few empty doterra bottles to soak up all that oily goodness for a few days. . Soak your empty calming oils like lavender peace or balance in some epsom salt and you have some amazing smelling bath salts. . Soak any other empty bottles in Epsom salt and add a tablespoon to the fabric softener compartment in your washing machine and you have a cheap, natural, non toxic fabric softener. Easy! . Always check your appliances to make sure your DIY’s are appropriate. But anything that isn’t a toxic shit storm from the supermarket has my tick of approval. ✔️ . I still prefer my vinegar but hey.. you got to work with what you have got!

I keep chasing my son and husband down with it because it’s so smooth and buttery and I want to put it on everyone (not creepy!) You need: 4 oz. Shea Butter 2 oz. Mango Butter 2 oz. carrier oil (I used Meadowfoam) 1 tbsp. Arrowroot powder Your choice of essential oil (72 drops is a 1% dilution in 8 oz.) What you do: Heat a pot of water on the stove. Add butters to a medium glass bowl. Place over simmering water and heat until melted. Add your carrier oil. Stir in Arrowroot powder. Remove from heat and place in the refrigerator until the butters begin to firm on the edges (this took about an hour for mine). Whip with a hand mixer until the butters become thick and frothy (this took about 7 minutes). Return the mixture to the refrigerator for about 20-30 minutes until solid. Then whip again, adding your essential oils. Scoop into a container of your choice This is meant for my pregnant belly so I added only 20 drops of essential oil which is less than a .5% dilution. It’s a little time consuming to make but VERY EASY and so so worth it!

WE HAVE BUBBLES . Woohoo... so excited for this hack!! Honest moment...I didn’t love the dish soap when I first tried it, what about you . My brain associates “bubbles” with “clean”...but, I know those bubble aren’t actually helping clean...they just add endocrine disrupting chemicals to our bodies!!‍♀️ . So, when I saw the hack on adding our dishsoap to this dollar store scrub brush...I had to try!! . I added one generous squeeze of dishsoap, about 1/4 cap of thieves cleaner, then filled with water!! .
