“So are you giving up on raw foods?” . . . This question has been flooding my inbox. Loooook, y’all. The raw food lifestyle saved my life. I am incredibly passionate about the power of living plant foods— so much so that I’ve devoted the last 8 months to creating books of recipes & information to help others thrive! . . . Does part of my recovery process include eating sweet potatoes with dinner some nights? Heck yeah. Does that mean I’m “giving up” on anything? Not unless you mean boxing myself into a label, calorie restrictive mindset, or fears around foods. Fruit is still the staple of my diet, and I don’t see that changing any time soon. I don’t know where this will lead me when it comes to labels, but at the end of the day, does it really matter? I’m learning to listen to my body as I rebuild a healthy relationship with food, so labeling how I eat is the last thing I want to be focusing on. ‍♀️ . . . If you haven’t been watching my stories, right now my eating looks like: Fruit for break-fast, lunch, & snacks (with some romaine/cucumbers thrown in). Savory raw meal (nori rolls, zoodles, recipes from my book, etc.) or a big salad + a couple sweet potatoes for dinner. And who knows, this might look different a month from now. . . . Truth be told, I’ve never gotten as excited about any other food the way I get excited about fruit. Eating & creating raw food makes me feel ALIVE. ☀️ Fruit makes up the bulk of what I eat because it makes my mind, body, & soul happy. But allowing simple & healthy cooked foods to be an option in my lifestyle is grounding me & helping me to break through mental blocks around food, and I’m not ashamed of that. I am open to evolving and allowing my body to guide me— without labels— as I continue to grow & explore. . . . I encourage you to tap in and question your motives for the choices you make. Foto zusehen) hatte nur 480 kcal, 52g Eiweiß, 40g KH und 12g Fett Rezept für den kalorienarmen Kartoffelsalat: Zuerst habe ich 230g Kartoffeln geschält und gekocht. Dann habe ich die Kartoffeln, ein paar (28g) saure Gürkchen aus dem Glas und ein gekochtes Ei klein geschnitten und vermengt. Die ganze Portion hatte nur 369 kcal, 21g Eiweiß, 51g KH und 7g Fett Rezept: Man benötigt man 400ml Sojamilch light, 60g Dinkelgrieß, 40g Eiweiß von @pumperlgsund und Erythrit nach Bedarf oder Flavdrops (ich nehme immer Vanille oder Cookie). Zuerst das Eiweiß steifschlagen und währenddessen die Sojamilch aufkochen. Sobald die Milch kocht, diese von der Herdplatte ziehen und den Grieß und das Erythrit oder Aroma hinzugeben. Unter Rühren bei mittlerer Hitze bis zur gewünschten Konsistenz köcheln lassen und anschließend den Eischnee unterheben. Dazu habe ich 90g frische Heidelbeeren gegessen semolina pudding with fresh blueberries Recipe: You need 400ml soy milk light, 60g semolina, 1x egg white and sweetener or vanilla flavour if you want. First you have to beat the egg white until stiff. Meanwhile you can bring the soy milk to the boil. When the soy milk boil up, take it from the plate and stir the semolina and sweetener in and cook it at medium heat to the desired constancy. At the end mix in the beaten egg white carefully.
