My husband to be took me to listen to Dr. Gabor Mate this past Monday. I’ve been reading his books and learning about the absolute relationship of our bodies and nervous systems to our health. From how we are raised to how we tend to ourselves in adulthood. There is value in acknowledging what may have been lacking growing up and that we can repair, as we learn to take care and regulate our nervous systems. Stress and trauma physiology are a major factor in disease of all kinds . I was inspired and validated to listen to Gabors’s research, experience, and personal development.
