My sweet boy knew I wanted to dig up a couple little trees from the middle of this old path beside our home to bring into the main yard - so when I turned around and saw him holding one of the “trees” he says “mommy look!!! I got this tree you love for you!! We can put it in the yard! And look at me, I’m a tree too ”... well though my heart was ❤️ I had to explain that trees have roots and once a tree is snapped off it’s roots - well - it sorta goes to tree heaven. ‍♀️ awe he felt bad... ❤️ .
