The Mewni queen lookback continues with the one that has been at the forefront of fans minds ever since the latest batch of episodes: SOLARIA, 29th queen, daughter and 2nd born of Skywynne. To me personally, this was the chapter that completely won me over on this book. My perception of the lore and shows characters changed when some of the big revelations were first revealed here, namely that Solaria is Eclipsa’s mom and that Solaria created Mina Loveberry. The chapter focusing on the Mewni-Monster war in complete aggressive and red handwriting adds a really dark spin to the whole thing, and sort of highlights a kind of tragedy of Solaria: For how much she wanted to be a good queen and doted over Eclipsa, and how much Eclipsa love her, it didnt change that Solaria was an extremist and fanatical racist. The 4th season and the stuff leading up to the series finale emphasizes this even more. Father Martin Magill, a Catholic priest, used his address at the funeral of 29-year-old Northern Irish journalist Lyra McKee to call out the senior politicians sitting in the congregation for being too slow to unite against violence prior to her murder last week.
