While having lunch earlier today, my fiance, David and I expressed how we still can’t believe that we’re getting married next year. Sometimes we can’t help but reminisce about the time when we first met and how it turned out to be. I used to be this heartbroken party girl working in a known ad agency. David was a college student without direction in life. We met through common friends and at first, I wasn’t open to dating somebody so young because of my past and the uncertainty of my future. But I still gave it a chance. David showed me that he was consistent and someone I can trust. He even drives me home after my work. You don’t have an idea how it’s such a struggle to commute everyday from BGC to Binondo, so that makes him my knight in shining armor. Most people thought that our relationship wouldn’t last, especially my family who have always pressured me to get married at a certain age. People believed that he still couldn’t take care of me financially and maturity wise. But as time passed, we both have grown as a couple and as individuals. David is pursuing his career as the next successor of his family’s business and he supports me with my passion in blogging and doing freelance work. And in this photo David is proposing to me in front of my dream destination. We may not be sure of our future and ourselves back then but this time, we’ve proven that there’s nothing more sure than us.
