FASHION FEVER- Modern Trends Collection This is my “Most Wanted” group because they are the #fashionfever dolls that a lot of collectors back in the day (and even now I presume) coveted. They were apparently very hard to find in stores, and crazy expensive on sites like eBay. These I’ve been lucky to get here and there for decent prices. To date, I would still like to add a MIB Gillian and Kurt to round out the rest of the “Most Wanted” group. FASHION FEVER [Tokyo Style] (2004) I really need to take a full inventory of what I have in my collection because I completely forgot that I owned a set of these cool #fashionfever #barbie dolls I’ve had them for twelve years now, and have hardly seen the light of day since. Regrettably, I was on a Barbie hiatus back when Fashion Fever first hit stores, so I never got the chance to purchase these back then. But when I got back into collecting I discovered them via other collectors posting their collection on a doll forum called TheDollCafe, and was instantly hooked. I gravitated toward these Tokyo-Harajuku styled dolls immediately, and was able to track them down as a set on eBay. Luckily their prices were not as inflated back then as they are today. Over the years I’ve actually gotten the complete outfits for Drew, Kayla, and Teresa second hand, and they’re really fun separate pieces to restyle. I really need to find a way to display them because they’re really a fun set of dolls.
