It also preps your skin for the next skincare steps. . In my case, I use two toners! Sounds a lot? Well, maybe. I have complicated skin. It's dehydrated, oily and somehow sensitive. In my understanding, since my skin is dehydrated, therefore produces a high amount of oil, I need to hydrate it very very well. . First toner or first essence - as the Korean trend might call it- is, as I said earlier, going to bring back the pH balance of your skin. This toner is commonly lightweight, like water. I'm currently using the Caudalie brightening essence (unfortunately not cruelty free). It also contains a very tiny amount of exfoliating acid. Not the kind of toner you wanna use for the seven skin method, for example. . The second one is hydrating toner. Its consistency is mostly thicker than water. Contains lots of any kind of humectants. Now if you're a fan of seven skin method, this is the kind of toner you'll opt for. I've two hydrating toners that I use in rotation. The may coop raw sauce in the morning and the Whamisa deep rich toner at night. . Sometimes I use cotton pads, sometimes I don't. Depending on the days. . {Review Blithe Vital Treatment Essence} • I have tested this product out before and I wasn’t too excited about it but as my skin wasn’t in the best condition, I needed to test a lot other products out as well at that time so I kind of forgot about it and quite a lot of you loves had asked about it so I decided to give it another shot! And I have to say, I’m glad I did • ✨What does it do? A rejuvenating essence treatment that works to awaken dull, depleted skin with 5 'energy' packed root extracts such as Red Ginseng that harmonize and balance the skin for an even, glowing complexion. • ✨When and how to use? After cleansing and toning your skin, take an appropriate amount on your hands and pat the essence into your skin. Or you can use it right after cleansing as a first essence. After absorption, continue with the rest of your skincare routine. • • ✨Texture of the product. As you can see is the essence transparent and is viscous but still watery in texture. It has a very nice slip to it and I love the scent! Its quite fresh but herbal(ish) at the same time. • ✨The performance. I use this as my first essence which means I apply this after cleansing and before my toner. I use about 4 drops for my whole face and neck. It spreads really easily onto the skin and the absorption time is really quick as well! Within 1 minute I usually find that my skin has absorbed the essence. After it’s absorbed it always leaves my skin baby soft and smooth! I actually noticed a really big difference in how smooth my skin is now since I started using it. ~ ~ I find this very, very hydrating! Sometimes when I’m in a rush I don’t even use an toner afterwards as it gives great hydration. I also find it quite nourishing and calming to the skin. Especially when my skin is acting up it’s very calming and reduces the redness and inflammation! I tracked the moisture levels my hand. With no product on the moisture level is 4% and after I applied the essence it was at 79%. I use this essence morning and night straight after cleansing and before toner. It pumps easily onto the hand in a watery, milky consistency. Two pumps is usually sufficient to cover my whole face. It absorbs easily, isn’t greasy and it doesn’t leave a tacky residue. . For me, ferments work really well with my skin to plump and hydrate. I also really like that the anti-aging properties they contain.
