#throwbackthursday from the time we went to Disneyland and had the best time ever...except all that extra weight I carried around and left me feeling so exhausted. I remember struggling to carry one of the twins on my hip for short amounts of time when we were in lines (they were just two at the time), I struggled to bend down to their level and stand up, too tired to get to the park early when we had magic hour, no “interest” in going to the pool. We are suppose to go again next year after Noble turns two and I CAN’T WAIT to go healthy. I think about it before my workouts and walks. It’s such a motivation! I think how awesome it will to be able to keep up with my almost 6 year olds and carry around my two year old with no problem. I am gonna get up early this time, I am gonna go to the pool at the hotel this time, it’s gonna be so different but still magical! This pregnancy has been hard for a lot of reasons... One of the biggest has been because I haven’t been allowed to run. I’ve pitied myself for a good bit over it and my pride has kept me from doing much of anything to exercise. But I had a bit of a rude awakening... . Last week, I got up from my desk at the end of the work day and noticed that my feet were swollen I was NOT about to put up with that pregnancy symptom so soon! I told myself that I would do SOMETHING every day to get up and move. And so far, I haven’t missed a day! I have perfected the stroller power walk and trot (a light, light jog... very amusing to watch I’m sure ). And I haven’t had swollen feet since! Running will always be there so I need to focus on what I can do to NOW. And right now, that’s power walking and trotting!
