There are so many inspiring artists on Instagram doing such creative things with pressed and dried flowers! Sometimes it's hard to look at another persons artwork without it influencing your own art! One of my fav artists on Insta right now is @bonnyv_art Her artwork is super dreamy (go check it out! @bonnyv_art ) AND she's super supportive of other artists, and gave me tips on how to press sunflowers so I was finally able to press my first sunflower last month! Yay! Her dreamy artwork inspired me to make this piece where the flowers lay on the outer sides of the frame instead of the traditional middle. I'm pretty happy with the outcome and since then I've been playing more and more with the different ways I can display flowers in my frames! Yay for fellow artists who inspire other artists to get creative and play around!

In between projects I wanted to make sure I shared the @stillmanandbirn sketchbook page I kept while traveling with my husband on our honeymoon last August in France.
