Back to back colonoscopies and endoscopies with two of my girls was a lot emotionally and physically. Holding my baby down while they put her to sleep and singing lullabies to my big girl while watching her eyes close rocked my mama heart. Collins vividly remembers seeing 2 of me, 1 of me, 2 of me and then I disappeared. She is so in tune with what is going on, for better or for worse. I’m happy those two weeks are behind us. Thank you everyone for the love and support. We have some biopsies and results back for the girls. Ellis, the baby, has stomach ulcers that we are currently treating. Collins, my big girl, has EoE - Eosinophilic Esophagitis. We are currently treating the eosinophils and will scope again in a few months. Hopefully with their current treatment plan this will stop the inflammation in their stomach and/or esophagus.

Such a good day! Davis ate 12 peanuts! Onto cashews and macadamia nuts. She insisted having her blanket tucked under her headphones! Whatever it takes! Mama has to wear a mask so I don’t have a reaction!

It’s been a good two weeks and we are soaking it up and grateful for the second to breathe. Each week we are introducing a new food to Ellis and she has successfully eaten banana and sweet potato. We’re onto applesauce next! It is such a relief to be able to feed our baby girl and she is so happy with her new discovery of eating food! Eat up our sweet girl!

We work hard and hang onto our good days. This was a good day! Happy Memorial Day! • Ellis is feeling much better. Still just drinking pedialyte until we can reintroduce formula and then her already tolerated foods.
