Ortaçağ döneminde bölgeye hakim olan Bagratlı Krallığınca yaptırıldığı tahmin edilmektedir. Ortaçağ mimarisinde özellikle içteki planı dışa yansıtan üçgen nişler kullanılmıştır. Üçgen nişler bölge mimarisinde çok ender olarak kubbe kasnağında kullanılır. Nişlerin sayılarının pencere açıklarından fazla olmasına bu kilisede rastlanır. Her iki cephesinde kabartma bitki motifi bezeli kesme taşlar bulunmaktadır. Diğer adı Rabat olan Bulanık Manastırı, Ardanuç ilçesine bağlı Bulanık Köyü’nün Çamlık Mahallesi’nde bulunmaktadır. Bulanık Köyü’nün Ardanuç ilçe merkezine olan uzaklığı 17 km’dir. Manastırın 10.yüzyılda veya 11. yüzyılda yapıldığı tahmin edilmektedir. Bulanık (Rabat) Manastırı içerisinde bulunan gizli geçitlerle Bulanık deresine uzanmaktadır; fakat bu geçitlerin birçoğu birtakım nedenlerden dolayı zarar görmüştür. 16.yüzyıl sonunda terk edilmiştir. Fascinated by the 71m high pharmacist Buddha statue built in a 8th century in “Oriental Buddha Capital”; an underground palace with countless caves. It was located in the mountain behind the great Leshan Giant Buddha. It was claimed as one of the tallest statue in the world and has been listed as part of the UNESCO World Heritage site .

A really awesome tomb from Yanghai in Xinjiang dating to 800 BCE contained loads of weed and plenty of other cool items. The Quinta da Regaleira is an estate (in Portuguese "quinta") with palace, gardens and caves, located in the historic center of the Portuguese city of Sintra (north-west of Lisbon). It was built between 1904 and 1910 and derives from the design of the Italian architect Luigi Manini. The palace and gardens of the Quinta da Regaleira are counted, as the entire historic center of Sintra, among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the estate area there are statues, ponds, caves, mazes, temples ... all surrounded by vegetation and exotic gardens.
