TRAIN TO BE HEALTHY ♀️ ALWAYS …

The past couple months, I have been harder on myself wanting to achieve new body goals. I was wanting an 8 pack, leaner arms, a bigger butt, more defined quads and my back muscles to pop like before…
..____
But recently, I started to ask WHY? Why do I want all of that? I certainly do not need it. I am not training for anything specific or to compete on stage. My overall goal has always been to be my best self, and healthy.

I already worked super hard to lose over 30 lbs, improve my mental health and gain lean muscle and become stronger, faster and fit holistically. That is what got me out of bed each day when I started, to reverse the risk of diabetes.

I realize now, that this new desire was all for vanity. For show. It would require me to count macros again, and eat on a time schedule and be more restrictive. But I lalaalooooove food (healthy food), but eating on my terms. And if I want some ice cream (vegan), I eat it..

I decided today that I do not need to be 11% body fat. 14% is fine. I do not need an 8 pack or muscles that pop. Where I am at today is perfect for me.

Today, think about Your WHY? Is it realistic? Is it something you can maintain for the long term? As a lifestyle?

The goal should be to be HEALTHY. Eat well, sleep well, move well, think well, drink plenty of water and make sure your waistline is less than your height in inches divided in half (that is the calculation to determine if you’re at risk for health diseases).

Working out and eating healthy should be fun without pressure. That is where you’ll see real results. Results & habits you will be able to sustain for life #TheBlueprint .
