I haven’t posted this yet, because I try not to focus too much on weight for measuring progress, but here is where I track my loss since surgery. At my highest (258lbs) my goal was 150, but my goal post-surgery (pre-op 201lbs) is around 130. I’m not completely set on that specific number, but I just use that as a way of tracking my loss and it’s my guess for where I think I might be a healthy point for me. Celebrate your success! Even when the scale is not moving your body is changing. I've always carried a lot of excess weight in my tummy area. I still have a lot of fat (and plenty of loose skin) in this area but it is noticeably smaller after losing 100+ pounds. For the past several weeks I've been hitting the gym, with a combo of cardio and strength training and daily ab work to strengthen those muscles. I am hoping to lose at least 30 more pounds and tone my muscles to help with the saggy skin.
