Found a new ice-cream place at #WheelockPlace which hails all the way from Los Angeles. Known for their signature black cones that are naturally coloured with activated charcoal, the ice-cream here really does not come cheap. We had the Vegan Cookie Butter and Unicorn Tears. Our verdict? Skip the cones and have the cup option instead because the ice-cream is good but the cones were not too impressive. Spent $20 for two ice-cream cones here at #LittleDamageSG
Probably the crispiest roti prata in Singapore, JB and some say Batam.
The most difficult part of making a crispy roti prata is stretching the dough until it is paper thin and make it four or five times larger than the original piece. After folding this thin piece into a rectangle.
Taste: 3.75/5 ( So crispy as if you are eating koko krunch )
Store: Chindamani Indian Food Stall
Location: 151A Serangoon North Ave 2, Singapore 551151
Nearest MRT/LRT: Hougang MRT Station(NE14)
Opening Hours: Daily 6am to 9pm

Ever tried Japanese Claypot Rice with Unagi?
Even if you are familiar with the local claypot rice, this Japanese Donabe version comes across with less salty with more of that deep-lingering taste of dashi.
That is because food that is cooked in donabe is higher in natural umami flavour and healthier as well, as less seasonings are needed to enhance the taste.
As for the rice, the famous Hokkaido Yumepirika rice is used, known for its soft fluffy taste, and glossy appearance.

Tonno Tataki. This month, Fratelli Trattoria and Pizzeria at RWS welcomed back celebrity chef brothers Enrico and Roberto Cerea, as the restaurant celebrates its 3rd anniversary. The Cerea Brothers, who run second-generation Three-Michelin-Starred Da Vittorio in Lombardy, Italy, has refreshed the menu with well-loved Italian classics and new signatures inspired by 4-decades’ old heritage recipes. Their family-run restaurant Da Vittorio is one of just 10 Three-Starred establishments in the Michelin Guide Italy 2019 edition, making the Cerea brothers among the most celebrated chefs in the whole of Italy.
Pictured is one of Fratelli's signature, which sees tuna sashimi seared on the outside, served with a rich cream of garlic and anchovies, and sprinkled with crunchy pistachio crumbles.

A minimalist Japanese teahouse cafe in the heart of town?
Eat Houjicha cake and sip matcha latte.
Their new Japanese teahouse is what I would describe as a little oasis in busy downtown.
Not many people would know of its existence (yet), just footsteps away from the busy Somerset MRT station.
The teahouse is designed such that there are steps in which customers can sit on and sip on matcha latte.
While I am on this topic, I would recommend people to think about how to sit and place their legs. This is still not home after all.

Probably one of the best GOMA Gelato in SG.
Butterknife Folk is humble gelato kiosk which just opened in Funan. The team handcrafts gelato and sorbets in small batches, and you will get diverse flavours and edgy creations.
Some gelato flavours are created just once, and you may never get it again (perhaps only after a long time later). For the opening special at Funan, it will re-launch its Chicken Rice Gelato with limited quantities.
Chicken Rice Gelato... go try it and let me know what you think about it.
