I can’t wait to go for longer walks! • • • Book review : I was lucky enough to get a free review copy of Puppy Love by Lucy Gilmore from @sourcebookscasa ! This one was such a cute read. I really enjoyed the fact that this one centres on dogs and people and the relationships between them all. The main character Harrison needs a service dog and Sophie knows which one will work for him! I loved Bubbles (the cute little puppy) she has such a personality in this book! I really liked gruff Harrison as well. He thinks everyone is scared of him but there is so much more beneath his exterior!! His chemistry with Sophie was really cute. Definitely a cute read. Also I sadly didn’t have my dogs around when I took this photo ‍♀️. Hello! Today I'm coming to you with a mission Have you ever heard about Tanya Holmes and her The Darkest Frost Duo? Probably not, am I right? I would like to highly recommend this Duo for every romance reader, who love contemporary romances with paranormal twist and gothic atmosphere. The story is very unique and totally captivating. Don't look at this awful cover... what is the best, you will find inside ❤️ I don't know what happened to this author, but since she released TDF vol. 2 in 2016, she simply vanished. Also, her books are unavailable right now (why?) But maybe... maybe some of you have her books somewhere on your kindle... Please, check. The Friend Zone- 5/5 ⭐️ . I started this book yesterday and I couldn’t put it down so I stayed up finishing it! I’ve read some amazing books this month but I’m so excited to post my first 5 star read for May! . When I first saw the title I thought it would be a cute friends to lovers romance and it was, but it was also a heartbreaking journey of self love and loss. Told in dual perspectives we get to know Josh and Kristen. They meet when he accidentally bumps her in the car but then they realize that their best friends are going to be get married to each other. . I loved the interactions they had together and they became friends first. Josh is the ultimate book boyfriend and Kristen is witty and tells it like it is. I was worried that it would turn into a love triangle but I’m glad it didn’t go in that direction. Josh wants kids and broke up with his ex because she didn’t want any. While Kristen does want kids the possibility that she can have some is low. It is because of this that she pushes him away even when he tells her he loves her. I’m not going to lie, I really wanted her to come clean and tell him why she insisted on being “just friends”. I was blown away at how caring and patient Josh was with her even after he learned the truth. Swoon! What I took from this book was that even if we feel “broken” we still deserve love. To love ourselves. Also, to embrace every moment you have with your loved one because you never know what can happen. . Thank you to @NetGalley and @readforeverpub for my review copy! No he leido nada de ninguno de estos autores y por fín les voy a dar una oportunidad a ambos. El genero contemporaneo no es de mis favoritos en realidad pero por algún motivo me siento muy atraida a este. Me llama la atención que sea un libro de romance donde la pareja es un par de chicos Además me parece la lectura otoñal perfecta ¿Han leído algo de estos autores? ¿Cuales son sus libros favoritos de este género? Ni bien termine con este libro voy a estar compartiendoles la reseña pero de mientras les dejo la sinopsis por si quieren saber más ↪Arthur está solo en Nueva York durante el verano, pero si Broadway le ha enseñado algo, es que el universo puede ofrecer un romance espectacular cuando menos lo esperas. You know, when I saw this cover I had to give it a try! I received an ARC from Gallery Books through Netgalley (thanks!), but I also listened to it on audio. . Nails: This is a yellow OPI base. Details are painted in gouache paint. I forgot how much I love gouache! I dug them out for this design and I love the flexibility it gives me. I also like the texture I get and the ease of use. . Book: I cannot say I am a pro at Christina Lauren books. I think I have read 3 books by this duo including this book. The last two I read told the story from both MCs POVs, this book is only from Olive's. Which is necessary for the enemies storyline, but it isn't my favorite. And while I prefer both perspectives, you do get a good sense of who Ethan is from just Olive's POV. . This is enemies (kinda) to lovers and forced proximity. It is somehow both funny and sad. An easy read, it is super slow burn. If you hesitate on romance due to the steam factor, this one is a good one to give a go in my opinion. Most of the book is about these two going from enemies to pseudo friends. The relationship portion of the book speeds through the last fourth or so of the book. . That being said, I enjoyed a lot about this book, especially the big family with big personalities. The maid of honor speech? Epic. I may have even teared up a bit at the end. Maybe.
