But it irks me when villains are evil because of nothing other than jealousy. Yes, this includes Disney, even though I love Disney. Maybe that’s my villain loving heart shining through, but it just drives me bonkers when villains have no other reason for hating the heroes. For the love of all things holy, give the poor villain a backstory!!! Aeron has one just as tragic as any of my protagonists. • What’s your least favorite fantasy trope?

I decided early on that I wanted to do character art for my book. Honestly, mostly for me. But also for you guys too. I’m not a super visual writer when it comes to what my characters look like. So this whole process has been like bringing them to life. Really to life. I know their souls. Now I know their faces. As an update, I’ve actually stopped trying to put a release date on this story. The edits are being really difficult. This is the most challenging book, craft wise, that I’ve ever attempted. And I want to get it right. Right, not perfect. So it’s going to take me a bit more time. I am hoping it will be ready September/October for publication, but January 2020 is probably more accurate. Which might be better anyway since Winter is kind of an antagonist in the story. . . . . #fantasyonfriday - #booktree - What can I say? I’m a rebel.
