In heaven with Bunnahabhain.☁️ . . Bunna is still more of an underdog in the Islay whisky circus - because their whisky is just average. . . Just kidding, they just bombed it again in 2019 . . The warehouse tasting is still one of the greatest out there. . . Our favourite was the Palo Cortado cask. Great sherry notes, dried grapes and dark chocolate. . . This years Feis ile release from a Sauternes cask is worth every penny. We did not go for the champagne matured malt though. . . Lagavulin Day 2019☘️ . . It’s no secret that the warehouse tasting with Iain McArthur is one of the best you can go for . . The lineup was tempting and the 21yr and 22yr old single casks were out of this world. . . There is a new chance to bottle your own whisky to take it home from Islay . . We liked the idea - but the whiskies were no treat. Please @diageo put some good juice in this experience.. 185£ is too much money for 200ml of a 7yr old @lagavulinwhisky . . Seadragons at Bowmore. . . After a tough night camping in front of @bowmore distillery we received our golden tickets to purchase this years Feis Ile release. . . Later on we had the absolute pleasure to enjoy a breathtaking setup of international single cask releases hosted by @cooleygba . . Out of a sudden he poured us a dram of the yet to be released all new 36yr old Seadragon . . Definitly one of the most stunning drams we tasted so far. . .
