Good morning insta and to lots of new followers! Never really sure how Instagram works and where you all came from but !!! Thought I’d pop a few photos on for my #throwbackthursday to show a bit of my journey. I joined back in May 2018 as my youngest started crawling. Years of knowing I needed to lose weight became an absolute WANT to lose weight. There was no way I could keep up with a one and a two year old and be the mum I wanted to be. I felt inferior to all my mum friends and I knew I was putting my health and their safety at risk not being fitter and healthy. So, I joined slimming world for the fourth and final time! I was 22 stone 7.5kb. It has taken 17 months but I’ve lost 10 stone and reached my target of 12 and a half stone. Now, I’m an inch smaller than I thought so to be in the healthy BMI category I need to lose about half a stone more but at the moment I am running, I’m following the target members plan and just seeing what happens. On weeks with no booze or nights out I tend to still lose a little so it might take me six months but I’ll get that last bit off in my own sweet time. My biggest recommendations for sticking with it are; GO TO GROUP AND STAY TO GROUP!! Use visuals if they work for you; instagram and a food diary have given me accountability for what I am eating, instagram has been nothing short of amazing on my journey providing constant motivation and support and lastly some body magic. I walk everywhere and I’m lucky to have the time to but you have to find the time and you’ll see your shape change in no time. Good luck on your journey.
