The best part about seeing Avengers opening night is using it as leverage in class the next day! I learned today that the secret to keeping 6th graders focused during spring fever is with spoilers!! . . UPDATE: This was a total joke and it said "I Would Never❤️" under the papers. I love my class and could never do that to them. We all got a good laugh out of it.

The best way to provide drinks for my 200 students is to go for the gallon size drinks. One student said it was so delicious ($2 juice from Walmart) that he was going to save his one cup for as long as he could. Another student said this was the best juice he’d ever had in his life. Guys....BOARD GAMES!!! my Amazon boxes were full of these (not books)! I am so excited to have my kiddos experience these! Funny enough, a lot of my kiddos had never even heard of some of these. Including Clue (one of my faves) After 4 hours of testing we opened up all these goodies and just PLAYED!!! Playing board games include so many skills (logic, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, focus, communication and FUN)❤️

I found this juicy breakup letter in my classroom written to K.G. from A.C! Of course the kids wanted me to read it out loud...so I did!! They also demanded to know whose it was. After all the guessing, I finally gave in and revealed that it was written to King George from American Colonists!! “What do you mean I can’t go to space?!” My students were so funny today with my sweatshirt. I told them I wanted to be a teacher in space & they said, “But we need you on Earth to teach kids about science!!” Another student walked in & asked if were were starting a new unit on space since I always coordinate my outfits with my lessonsThe majority of them just sang “NASA” by Ariana Grande & I was 100% okay with that.
