“I got 99 problems but a pencil ain’t one.” -Jay Z, probably ✏️⁣ ⁣ Anybody else feel like they’ve been loaning out pencils very frequently recently? ‍♀️ While I was at Wal-Mart this weekend looking for a new stapler and pencil sharpener (since both of mine broke on the same day last week ), I unexpectedly found a solution to my pencil problem.⁣ ⁣ These rubber pencil holders have a sticky back, so I stuck them to a white board and can now much more easily keep track of who borrowed a pencil. After two days, so far so good! Kids can get a pencil without asking me, so it cuts down on (some of) the chaos of starting class. This is nothing fancy or cute, and certainly nothing revolutionary, but I’d never seen them before so it was a new idea for me. ⁣ ⁣ I got these at Wal-Mart for 2/$3, but they’re also on Amazon for even less.
