✨E I G H T WEEKS OF S U M M E R✨ . Here it is! . These are eight books that I’ve read and loved and I think they are perfect summer reads! In the summer I’m always in the mood for quicker beach reads, patio books to pair with sangria, and books to read in the evening under the stars that are either adorable stories that make me laugh or a psychological thriller I don’t want to put down! . So I chose my favs! . My adorable romantic comedy recs : -The Flatshare -The Hating Game -The Unhoneymooners . My psychological thriller recs : -Behind Closed Doors -Watching You -Sharp Objects . And two books fall into the fun summer drama reads☀️: -Big Little Lies -Crazy Rich Asians . I loved each of these and hope you can fit some into your summer reading lists! . Sie ließ mir dieses wunderhübsche Buch ‍“Handwerker Candy"‍ zukommen und es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Ich kenne ihre Candy-Reihe bereits und würde gerne nochmal meine Rezension dazu posten, um Cristina zu unterstützen. Sie hat viel Liebe in ihre Candys investiert und es lohnt sich zweillos das Buch zu lesen!!! • ❣️Rezension (Spoilerfrei) ❣️ Bei dem Roman ‍“Handwerker Candy"‍ von Cristina Evans handelt es sich um die Fortsetzung von „Tattoo Candy“, der zwar unabhängig von Band 1 gelesen werden kann, aber ich empfehle ihn dennoch, weil es nicht schaden kann mehr über die Charaktere zu erfahren, die man in Band 2 wieder trifft Storytechnisch konnte mich „Tattoo Candy“ leider nicht überzeugen, dafür legt die Autorin im zweiten Teil eine Schippe drauf und haut mit ihren einzigartigen Charakteren um. • Endlich habe ich in einem erotischen Roman „normale“ Figuren erleben dürfen. Die klischeehafte Beschreibung von schüchternen, kurvigen Frauen und durchtainierten, großen Männern gibt es hier nicht. Die Protagonisten Betty und Robin verkörpern keine Ideale und das fand ich super erfrischend. Sie gehören nicht zu den Charakreren, die mit ihrem Äußeren den Leser in den Bann ziehen, sondern durch ihre Persönlichkeit. Sie enwickeln sich und wachsen über sich hinaus. Die abwechselnde Erzählperspektive ermöglicht den vollen Durchblick in die reiche innere Welt von Betty und Robin und lässt dadurch keine Fragen offen. • Die Handlung war nicht direkt zu durchschauen und hat einen Umweg genommen. Das Ende mit einer überraschenden Wendung passte gut in die Geschichte rein. Der Schreibstil von Cristina finde ich toll, das Buch liest sich leicht. Die Sexszenen werden weder stumpf noch langweilig beschrieben und das Beste ist, dass der Sex die Story nicht dominiert, sondern auf eine schöne Verbindung zwischen Betty und Robin hinweist. So kommt ihre Geschichte viel besser zur Geltung. Ich kann euch "Handwerker Candy" auf jeden Fall empfehlen und kann jetzt schon vorab sagen, dass ihr euch auf den dritten Teil freuen könnt
