Honey Lime Rainbow Fruit Salad

My favorite fruit salad! Perfectly right and refreshing with a beautiful combination of colors. This is the perfect summer side dish for cookouts or holiday parties. You can switch of the fruits listed here for others you may have on hand.

Ingredients
1 lb fresh strawberries, chopped
1 lb chopped fresh pineapple,
12 oz fresh blueberries
12 oz red grapes, sliced into halves
4 kiwis, peeled and chopped
3 mandarin oranges*
2 bananas, sliced (optional)
Honey Lime Dressing
1/4 cup honey
2 tsp lime zest (zest of 2 medium limes)
1 1/2 Tbsp fresh lime juice

Instructions
Add all fruit to a large mixing bowl.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together they honey, lime zest and lime juice.
Pour over fruit and toss to evenly coat, serve immediately**. Recipe Notes
*1 (15 oz) can mandarin oranges in juice or light syrup, drained well will work here too (which was what was previously listed, I just now prefer the fresh).
**Fruit can be chopped 1 day in advance (except banana) and dressing can be made 1 day in advance and kept separate and chilled, toss together just before serving.

Going from overweight to a healthy weight regardless of whether that results in being lean and defined or not is a big positive for anyone who’s overweight.

And all that really requires is a sustainable way to keep calories down from where they’ve been. Some regular movement, even if it’s just regular walking, will help.

Wanna be leaner? More defined? Feel stronger?

If you want those things, you’ll need to strength train, lower calories and even better if you raise protein. And you’ll likely have to do this but with more food too.

Losing weight without the intention to get lean, defined or even strong is totally okay.

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 cup packed blanched almond flour
• 2 Tbsp full fat coconut milk
• 2 Tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ¼ cup @sunspirechocolate chocolate chips
• option to add some stevia too if you like it sweet
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Mix almond flour, coconut milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract and stevia in a bowl.
2. Mix in chocolate chips.
3. Roll in 7 balls.
4. Enjoy right away or refrigerate for a thick cookie ball.
