Sending easy vibes your way this week to all those who are either: beginning fieldwork for summer entering the infamous week 10 of your fieldwork (where the more you know, the more you don’t know). those facing a new a diagnosis and going in with absolutely no idea what interventions to pull out. your reminisce of desiring to go back to the first day of fieldwork instead of studying for the boards Just know blindness is actually an amazing thing; going in naive allows for creativity and new ideas about how to do our profession. It allows for us to explore rather than travel the path too familiar. This is why I LOVE taking on students; I learn so much from their untainted perspective. Their drive,passion and purpose. Their willingness to try something new. Go in blind, proudly. You’re amazing.

LEGO week for the older students !! 1️⃣LEGO decoding for a fun visual perceptual writing task!! I used the sticky LEGO strips I found on clearance over the summer finally! I put them on cardboard with the alphabet. Target has packets of legos all the same color for $1 each in dollar spot right now I picked up 4 each in a different color. The student has to decode their strips to figure out the secret code!
