LIFE HACK: Clutter attracts clutter ... calm attracts calm.

If you know me, clutter drives me bonkers. It has the power to distract me and even amp me out at times. As soon as we moved to Nashville, I was determined to get all those boxes emptied and things organized. It can be super refreshing to start over from a clean slate. I've even been watching #TidyingUp with Marie Kondo on Netflix to get new ideas. If it doesn't bring me joy, it's outta here.

I have a habit of taking 10-20 minutes every morning to reset my space by organizing the chaos. This includes making the bed, putting away clothes, clearing the counters, picking up miscellaneous items (like Knox's bones and toys) and tidying up the couch ~ I usually fold the blankets and fluff the pillows. It's sort of my daily ritual. BUT it jumpstarts my day on the right foot. They say that for every minute spent organizing, an hour is earned. I'm not sure about that but a clean space certainly allows me to be more productive with my day.

Now I just need to get started on the babies room, it is the last room left in the house that needs some TLC. So far I've ordered the crib and rocker. #25weeks
