It is very easy (I know!), to find excuses for hardly moving when the summer turns very hot (or too cold in the winter and too wet and rainy in the fall for that sake). But, exercise outdoors in the summer months gives you so many advantages on top of stronger muscles, heart and a better self confidence. You are getting fresh air (if not running along a street with a lot of traffic), a feeling of freedom and photo opportunities. It is possible exploring new places, meeting people or just being alone and meditate. You can stay playful (or find the young you again) together with family and friends, and if it is sunny, you will for sure get a greater tan (I am working on it even if it does not show here). Not at least, it will make you happier. It really helps on my mood! Any other advantages you would add? Enjoy summer wherever you are, and move.
