Let’s talk carrier oils! First off, what the heck is one? Carrier oils dilute the concentrated essential oils so they can be applied to the skin without side effects. Because these oils are so powerful and concentrated, some oils can actually irritate the skin if applied directly on, without a carrier. Also, those with sensitive skin should always use a carrier so that they can enjoy the benefits of topically application without the sensitivity! Carrier oils also make applying essential oils possible to babies and newborns ;) . . . So, screen shot this, save it, whatever you need! Because this is a question I get a lot! What are they?! Which one should I use!? What goes where?! Hopefully this will help you out! Personally, I use fractionated coconut oil for all of my rollers I’m going to be applying to my body. It’s cheap and works great! Plus FCO soaks in really fast so I’m not left greasy. FOR MY FACE though, I do NOT use FCO, as I find it clogs my pores and dries me out. So for that, my personal skin on my face loves a mixture of (heavy on the) jojoba, some vitamin c and a little rosehip and then my essentials oils. Play around and have fun!
